What We Do
The summer and Christmas fairs are our main fundraising events each year but we also run smaller seasonal and themed events throughout the year, such as Easter egg hunts and sponsored events. Our termly school discos are also a regular item with our new Parents' Place Cafe serving refreshments whilst the children dance the night away!
We also provide refreshments and raffles at the school's summer and Christmas concerts.
Our Fundraising So Far….
The 2015/2016 school year has seen some exciting additions to our school thanks to our fundraising so far.
Our main purchase has been to extend our school trim trail by adding some new pieces of equipment which were chosen by the children themselves! We have also several well used scooter/bike racks, new picnic benches, additional numicon resources to assist with maths teaching, and we have supported the purchase of new IT equipment within the school hall. Most recently, we have given our Foundation Stage area a sum of money to be used to purchase additional outdoor play equipment for the youngest children in our school and begun to fund the purchase of new books for our school library.
Our Fundraising Moving Forward….
For the 2016/2017 school year, we have already committed to support our school library and Foundation Stage areas further. At our AGM on Monday 19th September we also discussed a number of other areas where we can potentially support the school and enhance our childrens enviornment - these are currently under discussions and will be communicated to parents shortly – the possibilities are endless so please watch this space!
The next meeting date is Monday 23rd January @ The Miners Arms - 7pm.

- Donate gifts for raffles / tombola prizes or items to sell on stalls
- Provide feedback / new ideas of what you feel would help us raise funds
- Let us know of any organisations you are linked with that could offer support for our ongoing fundraising
Fancy Getting Involved?

If you are interested in finding out more or getting involved, why not get in touch or join us at our next meeting.

Extensive transition activities take place so that children entering Year 1 are able to settle well and make accelerated progress. These activities are effective, leading to rapid progress later in Year 1. Ofsted report
