Pupil Premium Strategy
The school is committed to meeting the needs of socially disadvantaged pupils. We aspire to “close the gap” between vulnerable pupils and their peers via effective use of the Pupil Premium Grant (PPG)
The PPG funding is provided to schools in addition to the main school funding. It is allocated according to the number of pupils on roll who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM). An amount is also allocated to the children of service families and for children who have been “Looked After” for 6 months or more. In 2012, Pupil Premium Grant funding was extended to include pupils who have been eligible for FSM within the past 6 years.
Spending for 2016/17
The school’s allocation of Pupil Premium for the financial year 16-17 is available to view below.
The date of the next Pupil Premium Strategy Review will be in the Summer of 2017.
