Eco Team Update
It has been a really busy year for the Eco Team so far. We participated in Switch Off Fortnight, in which we managed to save energy by being more aware of electrical appliances and turning them off when they are not in use. More recently the whole school has taken part in the RSBP Big School Bird Watch, where each class spent time outside counting different birds in our school grounds. The most popular sighted birds were the wood pigeon, blackbird and crow. The information collected has been entered into a national database so the results can be studied in more detail.
Our next mission is to join in with Waste Week, where the Eco Team will aim to cut down waste by reusing, recycling and reducing the amount we throw away.
