Class 3 - Simon
Class 2 and Class 3 had a wonderful time on Tuesday 25th April at Eureka! (The National Children's Museum is an interactive educational museum for children in Halifax). It was a fabulous way to launch our new topic Let’s Investigate! We spent an hour in the All About Me room learning all about the human body. We met a robot called Zoom whom we could talk to! Some of us got dressed up as doctors and dentists. Next we went in the Soundspace room. We enjoyed making a lot of noise. In Our Global Garden room we were able to put our head in a giant rats head and see like a rat! Part of the room felt it was underwater and you could pretend to surf.
Finally we went in the Living and Working together space. There was a real house, shop garage and bank all in children’s size. They even had a real lorry which you could pretend to drive.
We had a brilliant time and learnt lots of new things!
